When it all started
with Florian
After a visit to Les Eyzies-de-Tayac in Dordogne, where he opened his first store,Florian Giraud returned to Brittany in 2013 to settle in the beautiful town of Quistinic, in the heart of Morbihan.
Always in love with this creative desire for a business, he joined forces with a new company with the aim of launching a fruit and confectionery store in the town of Carnac. However, the objectives and products offered moved away from the ethics he desired, this partnership ended some time after its launch, leaving him full of new ideas.
Motivated by this previous failure,he had the idea of opening a delicatessen confectionery store, with the intention of offering natural products, favoring collaboration with local producers. This is how “Ambryzel” was created in 2014. Florian Giraud is always looking for new offers to seduce his gourmets.
He wants to introduce natural nougat ! He quickly found a beekeeper near Jonzac, in Charente – Maritime, who presented him with a unique Nougat. This one stands out with a powerful taste of honey, a creamy texture and an intoxicating scent of dried fruits that leaves no one indifferent. From this first bite a true passion for Nougat will be born.

In 2015, changing priorities, Florian Giraud wanted to get closer to his family. An idea popped into his mind: “ Why not become an Artisan Nougatier myself?!Passionate about this product, he noticed that no store in Brittany offered Brittany Honey Nougat, so he asked the beekeeper in Jonzac for the Nougat recipe.
Once the recipe has been transmitted, Florian Giraud revisits it from every angle andThis is how Le Bonheur des Ogres will see the light of day on February 24, 2018, with today a choice of 15 diverse and varied Nougat recipes for the pleasure of young and old gourmands.
